Christopher Vernon Hassall (1912-1963) was an actor, dramatist, poet, and librettist, who was also a noted biographer of poets Rupert Brooke and Edward Marsh.
Library Hub locates only five copies in the UK (BL, NLS, Oxford, Dublin, Leeds), with WorldCat adding another at Senate House, fourteen internationally, and lists only one reprint of this work, published at Glenrothes, Fife, in 2007.
Small quarto. Original beige wrappers, titles in black to spine and front cover, untrimmed.
Somewhat darkened, slight creasing and a few small ink stains to wrappers, otherwise firm, internally crisp; a very good copy.
