In addition to poetry, this work contains the play "Paid on Both Sides: A Charade", which is dedicated to Cecil Day-Lewis and was written during Auden's stay in Berlin from 1928 to 1929.
Octavo. Original blue paper wrappers, titles in black to front cover within frame ruled in red, untrimmed.
A hint of wear to extremities, wrappers somewhat darkened with a little foxing, the binding otherwise firm, internally crisp; a fresh, unrestored copy.
