Octavo, 22 volumes (209 x 135 mm). Contemporary dark blue morocco, titles and decoration to spines gilt, raised bands, elaborate cornerpieces to boards gilt within multiple gilt fillets, inner dentelles gilt, marbled endpapers, top edges gilt, others untrimmed.

Engraved frontispieces and further engravings throughout, captioned tissues printed in red.
