[Paris]; Geneva: 1785 Stock Code: 127446
First editions of these two commentaries on Necker. The first upholds the two great finance ministers of France's past, Cardinal d'Amboise and the Duke of Sully, as superior to Necker in their financial administration, and as offering models for France's current financial predicaments. The second seeks to serve as a corrective to the arguments outlined in the treatise Examen impartial du systeme de M. Necker, generally attributed to Guerineau de Saint-Peravi and hostile to Necker, which had been published the same year.
