NotesWell presented map depicting the latest developments in the Indian railways covering the subcontinent from Baluchistan and Kashmir in the North to the Malay Peninsula in the East. This 1:5,068,800 map shows the state of the system at the beginning of a period of wide expansion, just one year after the establishment of the Indian Railway Board.
Though unmarked, it comes from the library of Robert Crewe-Milnes, Marquess of Crewe, Secretary of State for India 1910-1915.
Folded 170 x 125 mm, Unfolded 750 x 690 mm, dissected into 18 panels and linen-backed, printed in colour, in red straight-grained skive, title gilt to front cover, marbled end papers.
Spine and tips a little rubbed with minor loss on tips of front cover.
