Signed by the author, with appealing provenance

First edition, signed limited issue, one of 20 unnumbered copies signed by the author and not for sale; the signed limited issue, comprising 120 copies in total, was bound in cream cloth, rather than the orange cloth used for the trade issue.

This copy has an appealing provenance, from the library of Kenneth Rae, a director of Cobden-Sanderson, the publishers of this volume, with his bookplate designed by Rex Whistler.
