Description

Quarto (320 x 245 mm). Contemporary black full morocco, spine gilt in compartments with gilt titles direct, flat bands, boards intricately tooled in gilt and blind, bevelled boards, all edges gilt, yellow coated endpapers.

Illustrations

Chromolithographic frontispiece and additional illustrated title, colour and black and white plates throughout.

Condition

Joints a little tender but still holding firm, faint dampstain to bottom margin of frontispiece, sporadic foxing to contents. An excellent copy.
