Six Years with the Texas Rangers, 1875-1881.
Edited, with an Introduction by Milo Milton Quaife.
New Haven: Yale University Press, 1925 Stock Code: 114050
First Yale edition, which was revised and updated by Gillett and the editor, to include additional historical photos which did not appear in the 1921 privately-printed first. Gillett's memoir is widely considered to be one of the best personal accounts of the Texas Rangers ever written. Decidedly uncommon in the original dust jacket.

Octavo. Original dark blue cloth, title gilt to the spine. With the dust jacket.
Illustrations
Frontispiece and 10 other plates from photographs.
Condition
Light shelf-wear, whittening at corner tips and head and tail of spine, pale toning of the text-block, else very good in rubbed and slightly stained jacket, some chipping, internal tape reinforcement, but largely complete.
