Statecraft.Norwalk, CT: The Easton Press, 2002 Stock Code: 142123
NotesFirst Easton Press edition, signed by Margaret Thatcher on the edition page. Dedicated to Ronald Reagan, Statecraft was Thatcher's final book, providing her analysis of foreign policy in the post-Cold War world; it was first published by Harper Collins in 2002, with this "collector's edition" produced by the Easton Press, signed by the author and finely bound, published the same year. Whereas there were multiple signed editions of Thatcher's other books (with signed Harper Collins UK and US editions, and Easton Press editions), this was the only signed edition of Statecraft. This copy includes the publisher's certificate of authenticity with Thatcher's printed signature, dated 15 March 2002.
Octavo. Original blue morocco, spine lettered in gilt, covers panelled in gilt, pink silk endpapers, gilt edges, yellow silk page marker.
Slight lean to spine, bookblock slightly cocked, edition page a little cockled. A very good copy.
