Studies in Both Arts:
Being Ten Subjects Drawn and Described.Orpington: George Allen, 1895 Stock Code: 146041
First and only edition. This copy bears a gift inscription, on the half-title, to "Frank M. Bennett, from Agnes & Edward, Xmas 1985"; in all likelihood, the British artist and painter Frank Moss Bennet (1874-1952). This a lovely association copy.
Folio. Original white cloth, titles and decorations in blue to front board, untrimmed. With dust jacket designed by Edward Burne-Jones.
10 tinted lithographs.
Bookplate to front pastedown. Spine ends a little bumped, foxed, the binding otherwise sound, tape repair to verso of pl. V fore margin, light scattered spotting. A very good copy in the very good jacket, light splits and nicks to extremities with occasional tape repairs to verso, else clean.
