Notes

First edition, first impression. This is the book of the eponymous Hirst exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery, Los Angeles, in February 2007, with essays by the writers John Banville and Richard Bradford, and poetry by Philip Larkin. Hirst titled each work in this exhibition twice: first with an allusion to spirituality and religious iconography, and secondly with a title derived from Philip Larkin's High Windows (1974).
