First edition in English, first printing. The Blood of the Arena was first published in Spanish in 1908 as Sangre y arena. This book is rarely found in such good condition and with the dust jacket.

Octavo. Original yellow and red cloth, titles in black to spine and front board. With the dust jacket.

Illustrations

Colour frontispiece and 3 similar plates.

Condition

Spine ends softened, the binding otherwise sharp, light foxing to edges, else internally clean. A near-fine copy in the very good jacket, slight wear to extremities, notably birght.
