First edition. Granville Sharp (1735-1813) is best known for his work as an abolitionist and reformer. This short treatise proposes political reform, including elections for every session of Parliament, removing limitations on the franchise, ending rotten boroughs, and reducing the power of the crown in Parliament. Sharp's treatise was popular, going through five editions in a year.

A couple of pages lightly creased and a few blemishes to contents, else a very good copy.
