First Easton Press edition, signed by Margaret Thatcher on the edition page. The Downing Street Years, Thatcher's autobiography of her years as prime minister, was first published by Harper Collins in 1993, with this "Collector's Edition" produced by the Easton Press, signed by the author and handsomely bound in leather, published the subsequent year. With the publisher's accompanying bookplate loosely inserted.

Description

Octavo. Original blue morocco, spine lettered in gilt, covers panelled in gilt, pink silk endpapers, gilt edges, yellow silk page marker.

Condition

Very light lean to spine, slight bump at front cover top tip and very light crease at top right corner of first few leaves. A very good copy.
