Octavo. Original green paper-covered boards, titles to spine and front cover in white, vignette to front cover in white.
Illustrations
With 8 colour plates, 17 and black and white illustrations in the text, by artists including Edward Ardizzone, L. S. Lowry, Walter Sickert and Henry Moore.
Condition
Light rubbing at extremities and toning to endpapers, else a very good copy in good jacket, chipping at spine panel ends, light staining around foot of spine panel on verso, minor shelfwear.
