Octavo. Original blue cloth, titles and pictorial decoration to spine and upper board in gold, black, and brown, all edges gilt.

Illustrations

Engraved frontispiece, vignette title page, and 31 plates.

Condition

Bookseller's ticket and ownership inscription to front pastedown. Binding rubbed and marked, spine tanned and rolled, corners knocked, ink stains to top edge, endpapers, and extensively to pages 120 and 121, contents a little toned with occasional foxing. A good copy.
