Part II, "The War", relates to the China Incident of 1937 in Shanghai and Nanking. Printed by an orphan press established by the Jesuits in 1934.
Octavo. Original red pebble-grained cloth, title gilt to the front board.
A little rubbed at the extremities, endpapers browned, else very good.
