3 volumes, quarto (267 x 168 mm). Contemporary vellum by Watt of Dundee, spines lettered in gilt on light brown labels, gilt in compartments, covers elaborately panelled in gilt, gilt turn-ins, gilt patterned endpapers, gilt edges.

Illustrations

Illustrated with full-page engravings throughout, with tissue-guards.

Condition

Very light soiling to vellum, sporadic gentle foxing, an excellent copy.
