First Edition, First Impression. With the author's signed presentation inscription to the front free endpaper, "For Evan Tredegar with all best wishes from Dorothy Carrington (Frederica Rose)". The author has also signed the title page and identified the illustrator who was her husband. Very uncommon in this condition and inscribed.
