A collection of Fitzgerald's stories about Pat Hobby, a Hollywood writer "who was hot stuff when the movies were dumb", published in Esquire magazine between January 1940 and May 1941. Fitzgerald had himself worked, frustratingly, as a Hollywood writer, and these experiences influenced the Pat Hobby stories as well as his unfinished masterpiece The Love of the Last Tycoon.

Very minor bump to top corner. A lovely, fresh copy in the jacket that is very lightly rubbed on the upper panel with just a few miniscule nicks at the head of the spine panel.
