First edition, second impression, signed by the author on front free endpaper verso, "from May Belben, Dec. 1928" and with a note on her own stationery inscribed, "with all good wishes from May Belben" (letterhead Forest Hill, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, Dorset). A charming little volume printed on enamel paper; nature poetry of "simple sentiment" illustrated atmospherically with photographs taken, as the author explains on page 84, "with a No. 2A Brownie Kodak".
