Octavo. Finely bound by the Chelsea Bindery in bright blue morocco, titles and decoration to spine gilt, raised bands, twin rule to turn-ins, original endpapers bound in at front, blue white and red patterned endpapers, gilt edges.
Colour frontispiece, calligraphic title and 32 illustrations by the author, of which 11 are full-page, 2 of these printed on plate paper.
Neat small ownership signature to half-title, an excellent copy in a fine binding.
