First edition, first impression

First trade edition, first impression, with a single-page pictorial endpaper occurring four times, which was replaced with double-page endpapers in later impressions. Eleven of the illustrations are repeated from the privately printed edition and 16 are entirely new for this edition. This trade edition was published in October 1903.
