Quarto. Original vellum, spine lettered in gilt, pictorial motif of water baby riding fish to front cover in gilt, later yellow silk ties, top edge gilt, others uncut.
With 32 tipped-in colour plates by Goble (including the frontispiece), mounted on brown card, all with captioned tissue guards, title printed in red and black.
Very light spotting to vellum, edges, and endpapers, otherwise a near-fine copy, binding firm without wear, contents clean.
