Description

30 volumes, octavo (190 x 119 mm). Contemporary green half calf, marbled sides, raised bands, titles and decorations to compartments gilt, marbled edges and endpapers.

Illustrations

Illustrated throughout by amongst others Robert Seymour, George Cruikshank, Hablot Knight Browne (Phiz), George Cattermole, John Leech.

Condition

Bookplate of George Augustus Campbell to front endpapers. Spines lightly sunned, boards lightly rubbed, slight wear to extremities, inner hinges of a few volumes cracked but firm; surface abrasion to rear board of Volume 13 and front board of Volume 18. A very good set.
