Handsome Victorian edition
A handsomely bound set. Dyce was perhaps the leading Shakespeare scholar of the 19th-century. This collection was first published in 1857, with a second edition published in 1866. The present third edition was published six years after his death.Description
9 volumes, octavo (214 x 138 mm). Early 20th-century brown half morocco, decorative gilt spines, marbled sides, top edges gilt, pink marbled endpapers.

Condition
Spines very slightly sunned, bottom spine compartments of volumes IV and V slightly darkened, wear to front cover of volume IV, some edges lightly marked, very occasional light marking to contents. An excellent set.
