Description
28 volumes, octavo (226 x 150 mm). Original green crushed half morocco by Stikeman & Co. for Scribner's, two raised bands to spines, lettered and tooled in gilt with floral motifs, single gilt rule to sides, green cloth sides, marbled endpapers, some pages unopened, top edge gilt, others untrimmed.

Photogravure frontispieces with tissue guards in all volumes.
Condition
Pages nice and clean, spines slightly faded, some trivial wear to a couple of headcaps and some expert minor repair to four of them, an excellent set.
