Colour frontispiece with tissue guard to volume I, black and white frontispieces with tissue guards and illustrations throughout the set.
Early bookplate to front pastedown of each volume belonging to George Hale Nutting. Inscription and newspaper clipping dated 1916 advertising Mary Anderson's return to the stage as Lady MacBeth to front free endpaper verso of vol. 10. Occasional scuff marks to spines and boards, light rubbing to extremities, otherwise bright and presenting nicely. A very good set.
