10 volumes, duodecimo (172 x 112 mm). Finely bound by Morrell of London in brown speckled half calf, titles in gilt to red morocco spine labels, spines richly gilt, marbled boards and endpapers, all edges yellow.

Neat ink ownership inscription "J. Woodhead, presented by the Honorable F. Fitzroy, 1797" washed from title pages. Short splits to front joints of vols. 1 and 8, corners a trifle rubbed, the bindings otherwise sound and unfaded, occasional light foxing to endpapers, else internally fresh and clean; a handsome set.
