Description

24 volumes, octavo. Finely bound by The Trautz-Bauzonnet bindery in green morocco, titles and decoration to spines, raised bands, boards surrounded by multi-rules with fleur de lys devices and a further central fleur de lys device onlaid in red morocco, marbled endpapers, green and red morocco doblures elaborately tooled with fleur de lys devices, top edges gilt, others untrimmed.

With monochrome illustrations.

Condition

Bookplate to front free endpaper, spines uniformly faded to light brown, an excellent set handsomely bound.
