NotesFirst Edition, First Impression, First Issue Binding. With the author's signed presentation inscription to the front free endpaper, "To T. Sturge Moore with with affectionate homage: Wyndham Lewis 1927 Sept. 24". Lewis had met Sturge Moore whilst studying at the Slade. Together with Augustus John Moore greatly influenced Lewis literary development and was instrumental in introducing him to London's Bohemian circle in the first decade of the century. Time and Western Man is probably Lewis's fullest exposition of his philosophical credo.
