Third edition, issued as volume II of the Cours complet d'études commerciales et industrielles, first published 1845-7, but each volume complete in itself. The work was specifically destined for use in Belgium.
Two parts in one octavo volume, as issued (210 x 131 mm), pp. viii, 514; 192. Contemporary pebbled grained morocco and marbled boards, spine ruled and lettered gilt.

Bookplate and library stamp of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales to front pastedown and title. Gilt initials "J.D." at foot of spine and ownership stamp of the Brussels accountant J. Duqué to blank verso of title. Joints and corners slightly rubbed, split at foot of front joint with foot of spine panel reglued, paper lightly toned and a little brittle in places, short split to front free endpaper; occasional light spotting. A very good copy.
